Los Palominos @ El Rodeo Disco Houston, TX 10.30.2009 : I had a BOOtiful time and we were treated to music Arreola brothers style! Like I said last nite, via twitter, Palz brought their A game and only wish they could play 4 quarters instead of 1. Got to tell the guys a quick hi and zipped on out afta snapping a few poses and delivering a msg (yes, Sheila I told the J'z you said HI! (hi back!)) I really had been missing them, even tho' it'd only been 5 months, give or take. Thanks to Mikey Mike Promotions for always bringing My PalZ around. Btw, NONE of my personal peepz, yes U, ja, showed up and that disappointed me some, *flakes*, jeje! Anywho, I am used to it by now and your loss! :+P still singing and wishing I'd got to hear more songs!

Los Palominos @ Escapade 2001, Houston, TX 7.04.2008 : Los Palominos were my fireworks this year and it'd been 5 months and 2 days since I'd seen my Palz, but who's counting?!?! *~* I had been suspecting the J'z were going to be a little more casual this year, after seeing their album pics and sure enough they entered the stage dressed spiffy, yet relaxed with untucked shirts. I don't much like the color, but PalZ made it work for them. :~P I've learned that I don't really like to see them @ Escapade because they come on late and the set is just too daYum short, but other than that, I just watched, listened and enjoyed the songs. Then that dreaded 2 o'clock rolled around and off they went, but not before a small encore that had them going off stage around 208 am. Not the best pics, but these will have to do. :))

Los Palominos @ Grahams, San Antonio, TX 12.07.2007 : The drive took forever, or so it seemed, this time, but, four hours later ... Los J'z rocked Grahams! Even tho' I got a little miffed at one of the J'z once I realized I had missed the opening group, Cinco, awesome Palomino music prevailed and I let it go for the night. But, I have not forgotten and someone is gonna get a kick in the bootay when I have a chance ... I wonder which J it is ... duh! :))

Los Palominos @ Hallabaloos in Houston, TX 8.11.2007 : I had already missed two Houston shows, which is unacceptable, but, health he77 has struck again, and I didn't want to miss another, but, maybe I should have ... I felt miserable. I should have stayed home, but, I can be a lil stubborn at times, and mainly when it comes to my faves in music. Los Palominos did not disappoint their fans and being dead sober, yuck, *P*, for once, I had crystal vision and hearing to absorb the night as it developed and as the fans escalated in gritos, dancing and in their requests from the past to present. 'El Telefono' was so amusing, as this one guy asked for it and when it came on, you could tell it made his night and that song talked to him. That is how the majority of the songs are to me. They always take me somewhere in my heart and mind and make me realize (all over again) why I love my Palz music and always try to catch their shows. I wish I'd've heard a song that has been on mind lately and find myself playing on repeat alot ... Quise Olvidarte. But, that's ok, who knows, maybe next time J will cycle it thru, when I hope to be able to enjoy the show alot more and drink, because yup, like my Pal Johnny dedicated "... yo soy un alma sin dueno a mi no me importa nada pa' mi la vida es un sueno yo tomo cuando you quiero no miento soy muy sincero y soy como las gaviotas volando de puerto en puerto yo se que la vida es corta al fin que tambien la debo el dia que yo me muera no voy a llevarme nada hay darle gusto al gusto la vida pronto se acaba lo que paso en este mundo nomas los recuerdos quedan ya muerto voy a llevarme nomas un puño de tierra ..." Los Palominos @ Hallabaloos in Houston, TX 12.16.06 : Los Palominos were @ Hallabaloos this past Saturday night in Houston, TX and if you weren't there, you missed one fantastic Palomino's performance. The crowd was great and very responsive to the music we've come to know and love by "Los Hermanos Arreola"! Our PalZ not only looked handsome, but festive in red and black vests. Los Palominos were called back not once, not twice, but three times for an encore ... very sweet! As much as I wanted to hug and kiss them hello and farewell until 2007, I refrained since I had a cold. Johnny told me had a cold too, which I had noticed, since he was turning and coughing on stage, and later I thought that might have been my cue to go ahead and at least hug him, but, but, but I held back, as I didn't want him to relapse and/or get worse. Actually, I think he was telling me, more like big deal. *~*anywho*~* I did and do wish each and every one of my/our PalZ and their crew a very safe and happy holiday season, along with an adventurous and touching USO tour to Korea to entertain the few, the proud, the United States women and men serving overseas. Los Palominos @ Silver Wings Skateland in Brenham, TX 12.09.06 : We all seemed to have gotten the same memo ,,, to wear red. *wink* I hadn't seen my PalZ play since May and it felt like Christmas came a little early this year! It was a fun night of dancing and just listening to the tunes. I kept saying daYum that is my favorite and that one and that one...lol. Our Palominos played almost all my favorites and ones I hadnt heard live in a good while. Thanks to Johnny and James for always saying hi and boy was I impressed, seven months had passed and Johnny hadn't forgotten my name. LoL and I am JK J, really, and thanks for the shout outs lil ham. Wish I could have stayed to chat a bit, get singles and a group shot off stage, but we left pretty quickly. I apologize in advance for these pics, I didn't take many because I was dancing so much, but, hopefully I will get better pics next time. I am working with a fairly new camera, and am still learning what it will and won't do compared to my other one. One thing I am not too fond of is the zoom, but not sure I am prepared to throw a few hundred bucks down the drain because of that. Anywho, Merry Christmas to all and see y'all down the road. Just me, Esme.
